ABOUT ANWAR HOUSE OF THERAPY

Anwar House of Therapy is a bilingual, multidisciplinary clinic providing speech therapy, occupational therapy, and (soon) mental health services. Alongside our Ann Arbor and Dearborn clinics, we partner with schools across Southeast Michigan to provide high-quality evaluations and support services. We were built by a clinician, for clinicians. THE ROLE

We're seeking a bilingual School Psychologist to complete psychoeducational evaluations for students in our partner schools, with teletherapy evaluation options available. Most of the work centers on academic and achievement testing for special education eligibility, with additional assessments as needed. You decide how many evaluations you take on each month and when you do them. This role is built for someone who wants meaningful evaluation work on their own schedule, in person, virtual, or a mix.

Many of the students we serve come from Arabic and Spanish speaking families, and an evaluator who can work with students and parents in their own language changes what those evaluations can capture. That's why bilingual candidates are strongly preferred for this role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, primarily academic and achievement testing

• Write clear, actionable evaluation reports

• Contribute to IEPs and collaborate with school staff

• Communicate findings to families with warmth and clarity, in their own language where you can

• Perform additional assessments as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification

Preferred:

• Bilingual. Arabic and Spanish especially valued

• Experience with school-based evaluations

• Teletherapy evaluation experience

COMPENSATION AND STRUCTURE

• Paid per evaluation, with the rate stated in your first conversation, not after three interviews

• Bilingual evaluations pay a premium rate

• You set your own volume: take on as many or as few cases per month as fits your life

• In-person, virtual, or mixed evaluation options

• A collaborative team behind you, not a staffing agency that disappears after placement
