About me
Hi, I’m Reem Hamami, a bilingual Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist at Anwar House of Therapy. I recently earned my Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Eastern Michigan University. I’m fluent in both English and Arabic, and I’m passionate about providing culturally responsive, evidence-based care to individuals with communication disorders. My clinical background includes experience with both children and adults across a range of diagnoses. I’ve also had the opportunity to conduct and present research on bilingual family perspectives on augmentative and alternative communication devices, as well as treatment approaches for individuals with aphasia. I’m excited to begin my journey with Anwar House of Therapy and contribute to a supportive and growing practice.
