Anwar House of Therapy is a thriving speech therapy clinic offering speech and occupational therapy services to children and adults. We are seeking a Client Services Coordinator to join our team and help us maintain smooth transitions between clients and therapists.
Position Overview
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to manage client scheduling, intake, and billing processes using an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer-first approach, and a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate and timely billing and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage client scheduling for therapy sessions using an EMR system
Coordinate client intakes, ensuring all necessary forms and documentation are completed
Communicate effectively with clients regarding appointment reminders, rescheduling, and intake requirements
Handle all billing processes, including verifying insurance information, and processing payments
Collaborate with therapists to ensure smooth transitions from intake to ongoing therapy sessions
Address client inquiries related to billing and scheduling in a timely and professional manner
Maintain accurate and confidential client records
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients regarding payments
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, medical billing, or a related field (preferred)
Certification in Medical Billing & Coding (a plus)
Familiarity with EMR systems or similar practice management software (required)
HIPAA compliance knowledge or certification (recommended)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with insurance billing and claims processing (preferred)
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Schedule:This is a part-time position, requiring the individual to work in-person 4-5 days a week.
