Madeline is extremely excited to join the team at AHT! She graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitative Sciences as well as her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Saginaw Valley State University in 2019. Since starting her career, she has worked in outpatient pediatrics and the school system. She has helped clients develop sensory integration and regulation abilities, fine and gross motor skills, visual motor and perception skills, activities of daily living, feeding skills, emotional regulation, and social participation skills.

Madeline has completed further professional training in the areas of sensory processing interventions, the Get Permission Approach for Anxious Eaters, Animal Assisted Therapy, and more! She believes in creating a safe and accepting space for all in which the child's perspective is heard and celebrated every day. In her free time, she enjoys dog training, reading, and trying new coffee shops and restaurants!

Maddy has completed over 100 hours of continuing education in the areas of sensory and self-regulation and modulation, executive functioning skills, reflex integration, feeding and oral motor skills, animal-assisted therapy, and Autism awareness and interventions. She has completed training with Beckman Oral Motor Skills, The Get Permission Approach to Anxious Eaters, and Anxious Mealtimes and Quickshifts: Revolutionizing the Use of Sound in Sensorimotor Integrative Treatment.
